1General Cancellation Rules

Get Cappadocia Transfer, a Turkey-based private airport transfer, shuttle transfer, and VIP transfer service provider, offers flexible cancellation options to accommodate changing travel plans. All cancellation requests must be submitted through the My Bookings page on the website, by email to info@getcappadociatransfer.com, or by telephone at 0531 504 05 50. Cancellation requests are deemed received at the time they are successfully submitted and acknowledged. The cancellation policy applies to all bookings made through the Get Cappadocia Transfer website, mobile application, telephone, email, or any authorised third-party channel.

2Free Cancellation Window

Customers may cancel any booking free of charge if the cancellation request is submitted more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Upon successful cancellation within this window, a full refund of 100% of the booking amount will be processed to the original payment method. For credit card payments, refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the card issuer. For bank transfers, refunds may take up to 14 business days. Get Cappadocia Transfer will send a cancellation confirmation email once the refund is initiated.

3Late Cancellation Fee

Cancellations made between 24 hours and 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking amount. This fee covers the costs already incurred by Get Cappadocia Transfer including driver allocation, fuel reservation, vehicle preparation, toll pre-booking, and administrative processing. The remaining 50% will be refunded to the original payment method within the standard refund timeframe.

4Last-Minute Cancellation

Cancellations submitted less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time, or after the assigned driver has already departed for the pickup location, are classified as last-minute cancellations. In such cases, the full booking amount is non-refundable. No refund will be issued for cancellations initiated after the driver has arrived at the pickup point or after the scheduled pickup time has passed. This policy is necessary because the vehicle and driver time slot cannot be reassigned at such short notice.

5No-Show Policy

A booking is classified as a no-show if the passenger is not present at the agreed pickup location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time for non-airport pickups, or within 60 minutes of the actual flight landing time for airport pickups, without having provided prior notice to Get Cappadocia Transfer. No-shows are charged the full booking amount and are not eligible for any refund, rescheduling, or credit. The driver will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the provided phone number before declaring a no-show.

6Flight Delay Adjustment

Get Cappadocia Transfer actively monitors flight arrivals using real-time airline data for all airport pickup bookings. If a flight is delayed, the driver will automatically adjust the pickup time accordingly at no extra charge for delays up to 2 hours from the originally scheduled landing time. For delays exceeding 2 hours, Get Cappadocia Transfer reserves the right to reschedule the transfer to a later time based on driver and vehicle availability, or apply additional waiting charges of €5 per 30-minute interval beyond the 2-hour grace period. If rescheduling is not possible, the customer may cancel with a full refund.

7Refund Processing Timelines

All approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used during booking. The following timelines apply: (a) Credit and debit card refunds — 5 to 10 business days to appear on the card statement, depending on the issuing bank; (b) Bank transfer refunds — up to 14 business days, depending on intermediary banks and country of origin; (c) Cash payments to the driver — not eligible for refund; (d) Corporate account bookings — refunded to the corporate account within 10 business days. Get Cappadocia Transfer is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions, card issuers, or payment processors.

8Partial Refunds

In cases where a booked service is partially fulfilled — for example, a multi-stop journey where one leg is cancelled at the customer's request, or a round-trip booking where only one direction is used — Get Cappadocia Transfer may issue a partial refund based on the proportional value of the unfulfilled portion of the service. The exact refund amount is determined at the sole discretion of Get Cappadocia Transfer and considers factors such as distance, vehicle category, and time slot availability. Partial refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the original booking date.

9Rescheduling Policy

Customers may request to reschedule a confirmed booking free of charge if the request is made at least 24 hours before the original pickup time. Rescheduling requests submitted within 24 hours of the original pickup time are subject to vehicle and driver availability and may incur an administrative fee of €15. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends entirely on fleet availability at the requested new date and time. If rescheduling is not possible, the standard cancellation policy applies. Customers may reschedule a maximum of two times per booking.

10Force Majeure Events

Get Cappadocia Transfer is not liable for service cancellations caused by force majeure events including but not limited to: severe weather conditions (storms, floods, snow), natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanic activity), political unrest or civil disorder, airport closures or airspace restrictions, road blockages or bridge closures, government-imposed travel bans or curfews, and pandemic-related restrictions. In such events, Get Cappadocia Transfer will offer affected customers the choice between a full refund or free rescheduling to a future date. The determination of what constitutes force majeure is at the sole discretion of Get Cappadocia Transfer.

11Refund Disputes & Appeals

Any dispute regarding cancellations or refunds must be submitted in writing via email to info@getcappadociatransfer.com within 30 days of the scheduled service date. The written dispute must include the booking reference number, date of service, reason for dispute, and supporting documentation if applicable. Get Cappadocia Transfer will review all disputes within 10 business days and provide a written response. All decisions made by Get Cappadocia Transfer regarding refunds are final and binding, subject only to the courts of Nevşehir, Turkey.

12Gift Vouchers & Promotional Credits

Bookings made using gift vouchers, promotional codes, or account credits are subject to the same cancellation rules as standard bookings. If a cancellation qualifies for a refund, the value will be returned as account credit rather than to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed. Promotional credits expire 12 months from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Account credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
